Room 5’s Twelve hours of Christmas
Room 5 have been working hard to make Christmas special for somebody else. They have chosen their own projects to focus on and will have 12 hours of class time to work on their ideas. Here they are in their second hour. Just like busy little Elves in Santa's Workshop, they are learning that sometimes giving is better than receiving.

Dragon’s Den
Well done to our finalists for the Dragon's Den. These young innovators came up with some awesome ideas and prototypes for new creations. They pitched their ideas (very persuasively) to the 5 Dragons. Each of them successfully sold shares in their businesses for a percentage of their companies. Fantastic effort guys. Which one would you invest in?
Gabby pitching her Carpet Insulator - a factory which turns old carpets into insulation to make homes warmer. Very sustainable and eco friendly.
Callum decided to go into business with Mrs Wallace to sell his Multi-Pen. A link that joins your pen and pencil for convenience. These would be very useful in the classroom
Kaydee and Nelia pitching their product 'The All in One Glasses,' perfect for those people with too many pairs of glasses with different lenses.
Oscar and his Blinbix Cube - the alternative rubicks cube for blind people, which features braille on each colour.

Special spot: Well Done Connor, Emily and Tandia
We were very proud of our Special Spot performers today. Connor rocked the hall on his electric guitar and Emily and Tandia performed a beautiful number to Skinny Love, with Tandia singing and Emily dancing. Awesome job Connor and Emily (and Tandia Room 2), it's not easy performing in front of the whole school but you guys made it look effortless.
