The Whio bird (Blue duck) has only have a population of 2,500 birds, Whio are rarer than the kiwi! It is the bird that is currently on our $10 note.
Here is a competition to raise awareness of the Whio bird. All you have to do is pucker up and post a photo of yourself doing a duck face on the link below. You could win a five day family adventure for a whio wildeness experience.

That is very rare bird. Even more rare then the Kiwi! I wonder where they found that fateful,pretty bird
